VISITORS: We had St Pats Football Club visit us this week with the FAI Cup.
THANKYOU: On behalf of the staff and the Board of Management, I would like to extend a huge thank-you to the parent’s association (that’s ye!) for your hard work this year. You have currently raised in excess of €3000 with more events pending. We truly appreciate it and look forward to the decorating projects in the coming months, which will see our children enjoying all your tireless work. Go raibh maith agaibh.

ETHOS: Our core value this month is Justice. We are learning yellow Submarine at assembly.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Please return photograph orders by Friday. This is the last day for orders and you will have to contact County Photos yourself after that.
VACCINATIONS: All forms to be returned to class teacher by Friday.
FOOTBALL: St Pats Athletic Football Club will be visiting us next Wednesday. They are the current FAI-Cup champions and shall be bringing in the cup. Children can dress in red if they wish to celebrate the win.
TEACHING AND LEARNING: Our children have been enjoying visits to the garden. Susan Pike from St Patricks College visited today, she is using some of the great ideas going on here for her book. She will be publishing the book on Primary Geography soon to support excellence in teaching and learning and hopefully using some photographs from here for inspiration in other schools. CHECK OUT THE GALLERY.
ACTIVE SCHOOL WEEK: Please send in €12 for your child to finance transport for the week. We will be travelling by bus to Marlay park and to Phoenix park.
COMMUNITY PARK ON CORK STREET: There is a meeting / workshop on Wed 29th April, 18.30 – 20.00hrs in The Fumbally Café News St South - Dublin City Council are planning a new park for a site on Cork Street / Ormond Street. They are looking for contributions from the community for design and development.

VACCINATIONS: Junior Infants Parents – please return your child’s vaccination forms to your class teacher asap.
BIKE SHED: Please lock the bike shed if you are last to leave the yard.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Please return orders for photographs before next Friday 24th.
CONGRATUATIONS to Hazel who did extremely well in her recent Drama exams. She even won a medal that she will show you, if she is not wearing it around her neck. Well done Hazel !
CAPOEIRA: The last class is next week on Friday 24th. The children in the class will be given information for the next term of classes.
ACTIVE SCHOOLS WEEK: Active schools week promises to be a great fun filled week, starting May 11th. Costs for the week is €12 (transport & materials) – please pay class teacher in the coming weeks. There will be a sponsored walk in the schedule for the week, and your child will receive a sponsorship card in the coming week.
