ETHOS: Our core value was sharing this month. We reflected on all of our core values at assembly yesterday, and we hope that our children will be enjoying their holidays and using these as a code for equality. Lets live the dream.
SCHOOL CLOSURES: School will re-open on September 1st, 2015 at 08.30am. If you will be back late, please let us know. The school office will be closed throughout the summer. Please use the school email for emergencies.

SCOOTER MISSING: A blue micro scooter has gone missing and we would be most grateful if you could check that you did not take it by mistake, or maybe you have seen it somewhere. Please contact the office if you have any information on this.

IT’S THANKS TIME:
- Thank you to ALL the staff for your dedication and hard work this year. We have a very cool school and it is truly appreciated. Also .. best wishes to Fiona who will be heading on your maternity leave. We look forward to your return.

- Lastly and most importantly, a ginormous thank-you to our children. This has been a wonderful year that was full of learning, growing, happiness, hilarity, tears and laughter – we cherish all the memories. Go raibh maith agaibh lads.

PARENTS ASSOCIATION: The Parent Association Committee is seeking volunteers to assist in the set up and organisation of the extra-curricular activities for next year. There is a big demand for activities, so please help out with this and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
BOOKLISTS: Booklists will be sent home today and will be on the website in the coming days. You will receive a calendar also, please stick it on your fridge.!
TEDDY BEAS PICNIC CANCELLED: The Teddy Bear’s Picnic has been postponed until the Autumn. Apologies if any inconvenience has been caused. Thank you to all our families for supporting all the events last year. Many thanks and we wish you all a lovely summer. Parents Association Committee.
WELCOME: We would like to welcome Deirdre Gorman to our staff. Deirdre started this morning, and is employed as a special need assistant. We are delighted to have her on board.
ENROLMENT POLICY: Thank-you for attending the meeting to explore issues around our enrolment policy. The Board of Management are meeting tonight and this item is on the agenda. We will update you as to how this will proceed in our final newsletter later in the week.
READERS: Please return all readers to the school this week, as we need resources back in the school, to do our end of year inventory.

ETHOS: Our core value this month is sharing. The children are singing ‘Altogether Now’ by the Farm at assembly. This song is about the WW1 Christmas Truces that happened along the western front in winter 1914, when soldiers on both sides shared gifts and played football. Listen to the track here.
MEETING: Tuesday 16th @ 19.30hrs, for parents of children who are in the school at present. We will be discussing our school development, our enrolment policy, and updates from the Parents Association. There will be an open discussion on our current enrolment policy. Please read the document before the meeting so that you can contribute. DOCUMENT.
TEDDY BEARS PICNIC: We will be having a Teddy Bear’s Picnic to celebrate the end of our school year.
When: 28th June 2015, 2-4.30pm
Where: School garden weather permitting
