WELCOME TO THIS WEEKS NEWSLETTER –

ETHOS Anti-bullying week is well under way and children are learning about the bullying circle, being a defender and internet safety among lots of other things to help keep Canal Way ETNS a happy place to be.

Thanks to all who made it to the coffee morning last week and thanks for your attention at the talk.

We shall continue to teach Friends For Life whole school over the coming month. Please engage with homework and home time activities, to turn those red thoughts into green. We can all learn from that one.

PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT FOR JUNIOR INFANTS VACINATIONS next Wednesday the 8th. The HSE note did not specify this, however it is school policy to only vaccinate if a parent is present.

RECIPES NEEDED We are creating a recipe book to celebrate the different cultures in our school community. Please send your recipes with photos or drawings if you wish to cwetrecipiebook@gmail.com.  We will be circulating a template that can be used for your recipes next week.  Ideas of children’s games and activities from around the world can also be sent to this address.
